Cambiando el sensor de temperatura refrigerante o ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) en un mercury sable 1994 3.0L 6cil
Removal
1. Partially drain engine cooling system
2. Disconnect battery ground cable
3. Disconnect engine control sensor wiring from Engine Coolant Temperature sensor
4. Remove Engine Coolant Temperature sensor from Intake manifold
Installation
1. Install Engine Coolant Temperature sensor, tighten to 16-24 Nm (12-17 ft lb)
2. Reconnect engine control sensor wiring to Engine Coolant Temperature sensor
3. Refill cooling system
4. Reconnect battery ground cable
Note: When de battery has been disconnnected and reconnected , some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the adaptive strategy
