Torques para Acura mdx 3.5L V6 J35A3 2001
-Remove cylinder heads loosening bolts 1/3 turn at time in sequence, Fig. 1.
-Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a.Install new head gaskets.
b.Torque cylinder head bolts to 29 ft. lbs. in sequence, Fig. 2.
c.Torque head bolts to 51 ft. lbs. in sequence.
d.Torque bolts to 72 ft. lbs. in sequence.
e.Install new exhaust manifold gaskets.
f.Torque valve cover mounting bolts in 2-3 steps to 104 inch lbs. in sequence, Fig. 3.
g.Install new intake manifold gasket.
h.Torque intake manifold mounting bolts in 2-3 steps to 16 ft. lbs. in sequence, Fig. 4.
i.Torque intake manifold cover mounting bolts in 2-3 steps to 104 inch lbs. in sequence, Fig. 5.
